Kaiya turned to see the strangely clad (by her standards) male who had entered the room. ”Er, hello there. I’m Kaiya,” she offered him a small wave, though there was something a little unsettling about him that she couldn’t quite place.
Kaiya’s face fell at Mac’s question. ”I honestly don’t know what caused it all,” she replied, “My world had been kept in balance for…ages. It’s the reason the Keyblade was a myth; there was no darkness we had to keep at bay. I honestly wish I did know the cause, but I don’t even know if it was someone or something that started it all. I just woke up from a nap…and half my world was gone. All I know is that the balance was broken.” She really wished she did know what had happened. She had a feeling it might have given her a clue as to where to turn next.
Those thoughts aside, the redhead realized now was not the time to dwell on something like that. She was glad Mac had a sense of curiosity similar to hers; it made things easier when it came to questions. Although she had to wonder if his world was in danger as well. Just because a world was ignorant of the light and dark didn’t mean the darkness couldn’t come and infest it. She’d have to make sure and keep an eye out just in case.
He nodded, taking in all she was saying with consideration. He pondered over the thoughts tumbling about in his head for a moment before speaking. “Well, maybe if you went back and tried to find clues or see if you can find anyone else from your world then you could get closer to restoring the balance.” A slight frown appeared on his face. “Can you get back?” It was only then that he realised something and let out a small, childish giggle. “Wait— you slept through the destruction of your world?” He grinned up to her. “Wow, that must take some skill. I guess you’re a pretty deep sleeper, huh?”
He watched her with curiosity as she seemed to be lost in thought. He wondered whether he should ask her what she was thinking about but it seemed rude to interrupt. Waiting patiently, he rocked backwards and forwards as he gazed up at her expectantly.
Kaiya sighed deeply, her frown increasing just a twitch. ”I…can’t get back. The darkness completely swallowed my world. The only way I can find out what happened is if I find someone from my world who saw what happened, which is easier said than done. All I can do in the meantime is look for a way to get it back and hope this doesn’t happen again.”
She heard the giggle, confused for a moment, but her frown turned to a sheepish smile at what followed. She hadn’t really thought about it that way, but…yeah. She hadslept through most of the destruction of her world. The ginger lifted a hand to scrub the back of her head in embarrassment, “H-Hey! Not all of it! Just…most of it…” That wasn’t helping. She moved on, “Besides, school is exhausting sometimes. There wasn’t really anyone around to wake me up anyway. My parents were working. But yeah, I guess I am a pretty deep sleeper.” She released a chuckle, grinning. It did make sense considering she woke up on different worlds all of the time with no idea how she got there during the night.
As her thoughts overtook her for a few moments, she spotted Mac looking at her out of the corner of her eyes. He seems to be waiting for her to say something, so she took a look up at the sky and sighed a moment to get rid of the thoughts plaguing her mind. ”Regardless of if I can get back to my world or not, at least the sky looks the same,” she commented with a small smile.

I apologize for my prolonged absence. As soon as college hit me with all the work, Kaiya went off wandering to respectfully leave me to my work and has only recently come back. ^^;;
I hope to be on here a lot more, but another thing I should give you all a heads up on is that in two weeks I will be heading to Australia for four weeks! So, I will be back at the end of June after I leave. I guess I just keep myself busy! xD
Anyway, as usual, I am completely and totally open for some RPing, so I would love to RP with all of you and get Kaiya back up and running! Just send me an ask or submit something, please! I promise I don’t bite. :3
I’m super sorry I haven’t been online lately, guys. D: College just started back up for me, and this semester I’ll be nose deep in a lot of books as an English major. Because of that, I won’t be able to get on here as often as I’d like since I need to stay on top of things. I’ll try and get on when I can, but in the meantime I just want to apologize for my agonizingly slow replies that will be coming. >< I’ll be on my personal (phantomdarksgirl) a lot more than I will be on here.
I have replies saved as drafts, luckily, so I will get to those. So far I only have one for thewitchnamine, but if there’s one I’m missing please don’t hesitate to send it over somehow! Again, I’m really sorry. I want to roleplay with all of you, but…college things. D:
